Bruschette with Nonno Nanni Fior di Stracchino, chargrilled ham, rocket pesto and pine nuts
8 slices of brown bread
150 g of chargrilled ham
150 g of Nonno Nanni Fior di Stracchino
A small bunch of rocket
One tablespoon of pine nuts
One garlic clove
8 tablespoons of extravirgin olive oil
Nonno Nanni Stracchino is a fresh, soft cheese with a unique flavour.
Wash and dry the rocket leaves, place them in a food processor, add garlic and 3/4 of the pine nuts. Add extravirgin olive oil and blend until well mixed. The sauce should not be too thick.
Spread Nonno Nanni Fior di Stracchino on bread slices, place them in a pan and in a 150 °C preheated oven for a few minutes, until cheese is melted.
Toast pine nuts in a skillet. As soon as Fior di Stracchino has melted, add chargrilled ham to basil leaves, dress with pesto and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
