Traditional Minestrone
Water
2 carrots
1 stalk of celery
1 onion
Beans
Spinach leaves
Extra small peas
Green beans
Small pasta (of your choice)
Nonno Nanni cheese wedges
Salt and pepper
1 stock cube
1 tablespoon olive oil
Nonno Nanni Formaggini are creamy with a delicate taste of stracchino and can be tasted any time of the day.
Method
Wash all the vegetables, then slice the carrots, celery and onion. Bring the water to the boil along with the vegetables, a tablespoon of olive oil, the stock cube and pepper. Allow to boil for about 40 minutes, taste, season with salt and throw in the pasta, leaving it to cook properly before serving.
Take one or two cheese wedges and add to the soup in the plate. Once served, your guest mixes everything with a spoon and the cheese will give the minestrone a more delicate flavour, blending in with the other ingredients. Wait and see, it will be perfect!
