Rosa Forino of blog “Kreattiva” has chosen Nonno Nanni Stracchino to make her green-style recipe:
1 package of gnocchetti
1 large onion
1 knob of butter
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 250 g package of Nonno Nanni Stracchino
1 package of cream
20 g of parmesan cheese
Nonno Nanni Stracchino is a fresh, soft cheese with a unique flavour
Melt butter in a non-stick pan, then combine the cream and Nonno Nanni Stracchino after crushing it a bit with a fork. Cook on a low flame and stir it often until the sauce gets creamy.
Let salted water boil and cook gnocchetti.
In the meantime, clean and cut onion into slices, cook on a high flame with plenty of olive oil until it becomes nice and golden.
Serve gnocchetti with a crispy onion and a little bit of black pepper. If you wish, you can also add a bit of parmesan to make the dish richer.
